Alternative Provision

At Certus Education, we believe every child and young person deserves access to high-quality education and the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of the challenges they may face.

We work closely with schools, local authorities, alternative provisions, and families to deliver flexible, learner-centred tuition and intervention support for pupils who require additional educational provision outside of mainstream classroom settings.

Our experienced tutors and specialist educators support pupils facing a range of barriers to education, including:

• SEND and additional learning needs 
• SEMH needs and behavioural challenges 
• School refusal and emotionally based school avoidance 
• Exclusion or risk of exclusion 
• Medical needs or long-term absence 
• Looked After Children (LAC) and pupils with PEPs

Every programme is carefully tailored around the individual needs, learning goals, and wellbeing of the young person. We work collaboratively with schools, SENCOs, virtual schools, and local authorities to ensure support aligns with EHCP outcomes, reintegration plans, safeguarding expectations, and wider educational objectives.
